How To Use & Clean

Mixing: Add powder first, then water. Shake well until fully dissolved before putting the lid on. Give it a quick shake before each sip to keep the mix in suspension.

 

Cleaning: Rinse thoroughly after every use. Powder residue left in the bottle will affect the taste of your next mix. A bottle brush keeps the base clean over time.

 

Storage: Store with the lid off when not in use to prevent odours. Keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods.

Stack with Hexis

HYDRA700: One serve of HYDRA700 (5g) mixed into 500ml gives the strongest salty flavour hit. Mix into 750ml for a lighter drink — the 710ml bottle is better suited if you prefer the lighter concentration.

Why is the 500ml a different design to the 710ml and 1L?

Because they're built for different jobs. The 500ml is your trail and everyday carry bottle — the grey transparent finish keeps it clean and minimal, and the screw lid is simple and functional for a cage bottle you're grabbing and replacing quickly. The 710ml and 1L are session bottles carrying larger powder volumes, so they get the Hexis gradient finish and a rubber lid with a stronger seal. Different roles, different design choices.

Can I mix two products in the 500ml?

Yes —  If you want to combine them, you can, but mixing two powder products will change the flavour concentration of both. Test any combined mix in training first so you know what you're getting before race day.

Which bottle should I start with if I'm new to the Hexis system?

The 500ml is the one to start with. It's the standard mix volume for DHR — the most likely entry points into the Hexis hydration system. Once you're using FUEL60 for carb loading or gut training, add the 710ml. The 1L comes after that.
